The Tyrant of the Skies!

"Don't you wish the ISO's got some hill-climbing contraptions for us?"
"On the contrary Joe, how often do we get to go hiking in a genuine and peaceful environment like this?", Jun asks smilingly.
"It is pretty nice here, admittedly."
"Almost makes you forget we're on an investigation here.", Ken adds. "Nearly there, folks! Just past those outcrops. Don't die now!"
They laugh a little, when suddenly..
"Whoa! What the ..?!", exclaims Joe.
Strong swooshing sounds emit from around top of the hill - their intended destination.
"Take cover!", commands Ken as they all duck behind rocks without hesitation.
Then, a chilling and thunderous roar blasts from the same direction and reverberates around them.  If the roar was chilling, the sight that follows is worse.
Above them, from the source of the sounds, a gigantic winged serpent soars out, and heads directly for the city, wind pounding with every flap of its wings.
The trio hurry toward the cliff edge only to continue staring in disbelief after the dragon as it roars once more.
Ken activates his communications bracelet and he starts to speak into it.

This piece is just an excuse to give you a glimpse, in a (hopefully) "gatchamanicly" dramatic situation, of these three in their civilian mode clothing & hair I put together (I've yet to do the same for the other two, right now).  One thing lead to another and, oh look, a dragon, and ooh see here, a pseudo-excerpt from a pseudo-story !  Btw, my newly improved version of the bracelet/watch is also worn here by the three, though you can hardly tell.

Anyway, hope you haven't had too much of dragons in your Gatchaman.  Well, there's been "The Firebird Versus the Fire-breathing Dragon" episode of the original series.. and there's "Gatchaman vs. Dragon King" part of the OVA.  But I hope my more organic (less mech) looking one will be of further interest.
