I guess I'm not as much of a Star Wars geek as I thought, plus maybe it's cos I don't live in the US - after years, I've only just become reaware of this "Star Wars Day" or "Luke Skywalker Day" thingy .. and it's today (at least still is in US) - May the 4th, chosen cos it sounds like "May the Force (be with You)
! Also true - this day's declared as such by The Church of Jediism. It's a day diehard Star Wars fans would have a stay over, with their SW toys (lightsabers, blasters & whatnot) watching each Episode in sequence, over snacks, and may even have lightsaber fights
into the early morning
!
Sad to say, but I have not experienced a party like that (thus, no chance to try on the wookie costume I've been eyeing in the costume shop down the street
) but anyhowl, May the Fourth be with You
!
